ReggaePhrenik was not created from the outside looking in. It is rooted in lived experience, real contribution, and a deep respect for the music and culture that continue to move people around the world.
One of our founders, Carlton “Tetrack” Hines, brings a pivotal legacy to the brand. As a founding member of the roots group Tetrack and one of reggae’s most prolific lyricists, his enduring collaboration with master producer Gussie Clarke helped define the digital dancehall era. Carlton penned iconic hits recorded by legendary artists, including Gregory Isaacs' definitive "Rumours" and major tracks across Isaacs' acclaimed Private Beach Party album. His craftsmanship behind the scenes shaped some of reggae music's most celebrated anthems.
